My latest work can be seen at

Since arriving back in NZ I have set up Cottonwood Studio to continue my design work and produce personal projects.

I worked in London from September 07 - March 10 as a Graphic Designer at various agencies; W+K (Nokia Global, Honda, The Guardian, Save the Children and Selfridges), Adam and Eve (The Telegraph, John Lewis, Westfield, Twinings) Mother, TBWA (Adidas, Sony, Nissan, Eon, Whiskas, Nivea, Muller), National Geographic Channel, Lean Mean Fighting Machine (The International Herald Tribune, Virgin Casino), Iris (Sony Ericsson) and Publicis.

Prior to that, I was a Graphic Designer at Colenso BBDO, in NZ for two years. I worked across many different brands, including Vodafone, Air New Zealand, BMW, Mini, The Bank of New Zealand, Fonterra, Frucor, IAG, Masterfoods, New Zealand Insurance, Tip Top, Monaco Games and Skycity.

During that time I had pieces recognised at national award shows and internationally at Cannes.

Illustration and typography are both aspects of graphic design that I am passionate about and I enjoy doing my own illustrative work where possible. Outside of work I continue to paint and have exhibited three times.

I completed my Bachelor of Graphic Design, minoring in Fine Art in 2004. During my last year at Auckland University of Technology I was awarded a Scholarship to Japan. My final year exhibition of typeface 'Mongrel' won recognition at New Zealand's Best Awards in 2005.
